Soundfix Acoustics were fantastic to deal with from beginning to end. They were prompt, reliable and informative. In early learning services, groups of children can produce high levels of noise, which causes heightened stress levels for everyone. We immediately experienced a reduction in reverberation coming from the 24 children, reducing stress, allowing children to self regulate better and focus on their play and learning. It also adds to a better working environment. I recommend them highly.

Our kinder was the noisiest room ever, even though the children were just talking the sounds would echo around prompting everyone to speak louder and louder and the noise would become unbearable. Before we installed the acoustic panels, our dance studio was almost unusable due to terrible acoustics. The hard surfaces like the wooden floor and stone walls made the sound bounce around endlessly, creating an echo that made it hard for our students and instructors to communicate.

The installation of the 40mm acoustic ceiling panels has made a huge difference in the noise levels. These panels absorb sound waves, reducing the echo and reverberation significantly. This has turned our studio into a much more comfortable and functional space.

With the improved acoustics, we can now use the studio as intended. It’s become one of the favorite studios among our trainers because it provides a clear and distraction-free environment for teaching and practice.

Our experience with SoundFix Acoustics was great. The panels were much cheaper than other quotes we received, and the installation was quick and easy, taking just one day with minimal equipment. We recently upgraded our classroom floors from carpet to hybrid flooring, and while it looked fantastic, the change made our space much noisier and echoey. I contacted SoundFix about fireproof acoustic shielding for a light aircraft overhaul. Geoff introduced me to a product that was used by Airbus to reduce the weight of the A380. Geoff produced fire test videos for us and supplied an excellent product at a competitive price. Our only other option was to import from the USA.

The material was very easy to work with, requiring only a razor blade to accurately cut. The springiness and structure has meant that we do not need to glue it in, further saving weight and cost.

Our acoustic panels have been tested in accordance with AS ISO 9705 2003 for the purpose of determining the Group Number classification as required by the Building Code of Australia for the control of fire spread on interior wall and ceiling linings.
