The Challenge

New office buildings look impressive on paper. Clean lines, glass walls, polished concrete, exposed ceilings and hard finishes all deliver a modern, architectural aesthetic. This project was no exception.

The office floor had just been completed. The fit-out was brand new. The meeting rooms were designed for collaboration, presentations and online meetings — yet from the very first week of use, the issues became obvious. The Solution

The answer wasn’t soundproofing. And it wasn’t adding more technology. What the space needed was targeted sound absorption. After reviewing the reverberation data and assessing how sound behaved in the rooms, SoundFix Acoustics designed a solution using acoustic wall panels, supported where needed by ceiling acoustic panels, to directly address the reflection paths causing the problem.

The Installation
